Supposed to be Mal/Simon - Firefly. I watched all of Firefly a few weeks ago and became obsessed with it. Then forgot I’d watched it. Then remembered, and someone thought it would be a great idea to say “Hey, what if one of them were wearing a French maid costume.” All of this is aster-sideris’s fault. (She says “man in stockings,” I say “how high?”) My explanation for this pic is that someone lost a bet. I’m just not entirely sure who.

This is a thing I was playing with months and months ago, and then my computer died. It was going to be a Steve/Tony Avengers AU in which the world thinks the Avengers have snuffed it, Tony doesn’t remember anything remotely related to being Iron Man, and Steve is a friendly amnesiac statue he finds in the park that magically comes to life. And stuff. There were logical reasons for all this, I swear. Sort of.

(I would have done reverse big bang stuff with this if I hadn’t missed the signups deadline by TWO HOURS, sob.)

I found this is one of the LinkedIn groups I’m in. Josh Reed shows by example, using both art and photos to explain figure drawing concepts, both in life drawing and imagination-based art. Concepts are taught, like how the muscles work and how the bones move, and then techniques are illustrated, like line quality, composition and gesture drawing.
